1:1 Wheel Throwing Workshop

Always wanted to try your hand at wheel throwing? This workshop is for you!
 
Suitable for absolute beginners, this one-to-one 2 hour session allows you to get your hands dirty on the potters wheel and create some of your very own unique pieces under Naomi’s guidance.
 
These sessions are designed for you to learn the basic techniques of wheel throwing in a relaxed, no pressure environment. At the end of the session, you will choose 2 of your pieces that Naomi will glaze and fire for you that will then be ready to collect in 6-8 weeks. (If you wish to keep more than 2 of your pieces, any extra pots to be glazed and fired will be an extra £10 each that you can pay on the day.)
 
The workshop is run from Naomi’s small cosy garden studio in Basford, Nottingham. If you’re an animal lover, you may also be joined by some dogs or chickens!

Timings for workshops are either 10-12pm, 1-3pm, 3:30-5:30pm or 6-8pm. Monday to Friday.
 
Things to note:
- Unfortunately the garden is not wheelchair accessible.
- Long nails are not suitable for wheel throwing, please trim them as short as you can beforehand.
- Not suitable for those with pacemakers.
Please note: When purchasing your workshop you will get a confirmation email. You don’t need to bring a ticket or anything else with you. Just turn up at the start time of your workshop.
Unfortunately I don’t supply gift cards. If you wish to give the workshop as a gift for someone else I recommend writing what they’ll be doing into a card.
